FSU Risk Management and Insurance Research Symposium — hosted by the FSU Risk Management and Insurance Center and the Dr. William T. Hold/The Alliance’s Program in Risk Management and Insurance.

The fifth annual symposium meets January 21–23, 2027 at the Tampa Hilton Downtown. The call for papers is open, with submissions due September 15, 2026; authors of accepted papers are notified on or soon after October 15. Papers on any risk management and insurance topic are welcome, works in progress included. Each accepted paper gets an hour-long presentation slot and an assigned discussant, and the Hold/Alliance Program provides hotel accommodation for one author. Submit a PDF to RMI-ResearchSymposium@wertheim.fsu.edu with the subject line “Research Symposium”. Attendance is by invitation.
