The Risk Theory Society meets once a year. Ten papers are selected, each is discussed for a full hour, and everyone in the room has read everything. This page tracks what became of those papers — which reached print, where, and how long it took.
The record here covers 31 meetings between 1984 and 2024, along with the meeting history itself: who presided, who hosted, and how the society grew.
A blank journal means we have no publication recorded, not that a paper was never published. Tracking is more complete for some years than others, and recent cohorts are still working through review — the median paper takes three years from the meeting to print. Read the last few years accordingly.

About this record
- A blank journal is a gap in the record, not a verdict on the paper. Publication outcomes were compiled after the fact, and the further back the meeting, the more likely an outcome went unrecorded.
- Journals appear under the name they carried at the time. The Geneva titles are one lineage renamed twice — Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, then …Theory, then Geneva Risk and Insurance Review — and are counted separately here. Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance—Issues and Practice is a different journal.
